Save Affordable Connectivity Program
Date: Mon, January 29, 2024
If Congress doesn’t act quickly to Save the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) families who receive free and reduced cost school lunch, veterans, and many other low-income consumers could lose their internet access. The ACP allows low-income students to learn online and others to receive medical care via telehealth. But these funds will run out in April.
You can help. You can tell your lawmakers to save the ACP. There’s a bill before Congress—the Affordable Connectivity Program Extension Act (HR 6929/S 3565)—that would provide the funds to extend the program through 2024.
Please urge Congress to help financially-strapped consumers keep their internet access.
